There's guards patrolling the place, there's a working generator on the roof, and the elevators work as well (but adapted so they could only function if you have a key). There's new automatic doors in the front building, and the place is stocked with furniture, and lots of old paperwork and documents. There wasn't a fence around it last year, but yeah, I notice the same lights are on every night was well.
