Still Life
Outside the hectic Shinjuku Station in Tokyo I see these two dudes in business suits. They're standing motionless and expressionless. It looks like some kind of performance art, but it's just two blokes having a rest, and one idiot tourist pointing a camera at them.

Topsu Desu
Lovely, elegant lady in Shinjuku, Japan. Folks from Asia in their autumn years are my favourite people in the world.

Bum News - Great Bum Rigs of The World
I love bums. Both kinds. But right now I'm talking about the bums who live on the streets by choice. I'd never photograph homeless folks, it's just wrong, but I reckon taking pictures of their setups is fair game. I love a good bum rig.
I noticed this fine collection of treasures in Newtown the other day. The laptop bag gives this rig that bum-executive look. I like it. But it got me thinking about how much more advanced the bums of Japan are...

Festival Gate Osaka - Roller Coaster of Death
Our jaws dropped in amazement when we saw the Festival Gate shopping centre in Osaka in midst of demolition. Most impressive is the torn and twisted remains of the roller coaster, it's spooky the way the track ends hanging in mid air. It gives the impression the place was closed after some horrific roller coaster accident, that's it's been vacant and haunted for years, but at night you can still hear the screams. The truth is less exciting, the place just went broke. Too much Scooby Doo...
The only way to get a picture was from the train. We made a special trip out here and caught the train back and forth between stations with only precious minutes left of daylight to try and get a good photo. We didn't come close to capturing the full post apocalyptic impact of the scene on camera, but it was fun.
Front view from the street, notice how the track at the rear ends in mid air. Shame, it looked like a great ride.
